Teaching Assistant (Fixed term) – Lift Feversham, Harewood Street, Bradford, BD3 9EG, United Kingdom
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistants to join our community-focused and supportive team. This fixed-term role is open to applicants with experience within any key stage group.
Salary: NJC 3-4 £17,615 - £17,891 (Actual salary) / £24,796 - £25,185 (FTE); well-being cash plan, pension scheme (LGPS) and Lift Schools benefits. Hours: 31.5 per week, 38 weeks per year. Contract: Fixed Term. Start date: ASAP. Closing date: 8 Oct. Interviews: 14 Oct.

You’re someone who’ll be able to
* Improve the learning and attainment of students while promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
* Supervise classroom activities and play.
* Support speech and language interventions.
* Support students so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
* Be a warm and friendly face to children and parents.
* Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required.
You’re someone who has
* Motivation and enthusiasm
* Understanding of children's learning needs
* Phonic understanding
* The skills to help children develop independent learning skills
* Ability to deliver individual and small group targeted interventions
We require a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). If you don’t yet hold this qualification, we’ll invest in your development by enrolling you in our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme. Apprenticeship wage may vary from the advertised rate; the minimum rate would be £12.60 (VLW).
