What you’ll be doing:
* Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
* Managing compliance to processes while bringing passion and flair for great shopkeeping and customer service.
* Ensuring every customer gets the food they want when they shop with us to help ensure we are the first choice for food.
* People management, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Assuming overall responsibility for running the store at times, providing direction and support to colleagues to deliver for the customer.
What makes a great food manager:
* Experience in line management within a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Exceptional customer service skills and ability to coach a team accordingly.
* Proven ability to deliver KPIs and performance indicators.
* Experience managing disciplinaries, performance issues, or other employee relations matters.
* Capability to lead operations independently in the absence of senior management.
