We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students with a love for geography, environmental awareness, and global issues. This role is for January 2025 and is an ongoing long term role.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to [KS3/KS4/KS5] students
* Develop students' understanding of physical and human geography
* Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments
* Encourage critical thinking about global and environmental challenges
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities, including field trips
Ideal Geography Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status QTS or relevant teaching qualification
* Specialism or experience in Geography
* Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Geography Teacher
* Passion for inspiring students and fostering curiosity about the world
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
