Leadenhall Search and Selection is looking for a motivated and collaborative
Salesforce Developer
on behalf of a boutique, richly-cultured independent Law firm.
Role Summary
Working closely with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand and prioritise requirements that support business process change, including:
* Collaborating with the Development team and stakeholders to create specifications for new information systems and documenting required changes to existing systems.
* Developing technical solutions that align with business requirements and deliver corporate objectives.
* Building integrations with the Salesforce platform and other enterprise SaaS applications and PaaS/IaaS cloud services such as Office365, Azure, and AWS.
* Working closely with the local Data Manager, Development & Change Leads, and Business Analyst to implement approved, documented solutions.
* Managing the delivery of new features and changes through robust application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), liaising with end users, software vendors, and development resources to achieve these outcomes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The role will include, but is not limited to:
* Utilising out-of-the-box functionality where possible and contributing to solution design where customisation and programmatic development is required.
* Designing and developing Salesforce-based applications, customisations, and enhancements.
* Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving bugs/errors.
* Following established Salesforce development standards and best practices.
* Staying current on technology changes and Salesforce releases.
* Salesforce Development including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, REST and SOAP API, and Lightning Components.
* Integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
* Salesforce configuration, workflows, object customization, and security models.
* Salesforce sandbox management and deployment best practices.
* Working with technical and non-technical colleagues to design innovative solutions to business problems, estimating effort and creating realistic delivery plans.
* Creating and maintaining Salesforce-related technical documents.
* Identifying system inefficiencies/gaps, troubleshooting operational issues, and exploring opportunities for updates.
* Ad hoc development and special projects as required.
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable Salesforce Developer experience (4 years+).
* Certified Salesforce Admin (201) required; Platform App Builder preferred.
* Platform Dev I certification required; Dev II preferred.
* Strong experience working with Sales, Service Cloud, and Customer Communities.
* Strong AppExchange installed package and integration experience: CTI integration, Titan Form, identity verification applications, middleware (e.g. Zapier, Jotform) preferable.
* Experience with development technologies including Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura and Web Components), migration tools, REST APIs, SQL/SOQL, and Web Services.
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python, and frameworks (e.g.,, ).
* Experience using web development tools and code repositories, version control, and release management such as Eclipse IDE, Git, Sublime.
* In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and constraints, and external system integration.
* Experience designing and building workflow management systems and processes; legal industry experience preferred.
* Experience with full software development lifecycle in an agile/scrum environment.
* Strong experience working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment.
* Outstanding analytical, innovative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build effective, trusted relationships at all levels within the organisation and with external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scenarios to non-technical audiences.
* Highly self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with consistently high performance.
