We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Legal Support Assistant to join a busy and friendly Residential Property Department in our clients Shrewsbury office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience, or a strong administrative background, who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional legal environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive conveyancing support to the Residential Property team and play a key role in ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to post-completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Taking client instructions and opening files
* Submitting property searches
* Assisting clients with completion of forms and documentation
* Supporting the conveyancing process through to completion
* Preparing relevant forms for online submission
* Preparing and submitting applications for registration of title
* Handling post-completion formalities
* Providing excellent client care and administrative support throughout the transaction process
About You
We are looking for an organised, reliable and detail-focused individual who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience within residential conveyancing or legal support
* Alternatively, a strong background in high-level administration
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good IT skills and confidence using online systems
* A professional and friendly telephone manner
* The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
* A proactive and dependable approach to work
