Software & Data Engineer – UK-Based – Permanent
We’re working with a well-funded startup building a smart, AI-driven platform.
They're scaling fast and need a versatile Software & Data Engineer to help build and optimise core systems from the ground up.
This is a full-time remote role, but you’re welcome in the office!
You’ll be working on:
* Building clean, scalable Python code
* Backend systems and API integrations
* ELT pipelines and third-party data ingestion
* PostgreSQL, vector search, and structured data support for AI/LLM features
* Storage/query performance tuning
What you’ll bring:
* Strong Python and backend development skills
* Experience with relational + NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / DynamoDB)
* Solid understanding of REST APIs and schema-driven design
* Bonus: experience or interest in LLMs / AI / vector stores
