New Build Crane Engineer
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000
Monday to Friday days
Overtime paid at 1.5

My client, a national provider of cranes and plant equipment, is seeking an experienced and motivated New Build Crane Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team.
About your New Build Crane Engineer role
* Installation of safety systems, calibration, and testing of crane specifications
* Preparation of cranes for sale, including decal application, testing, and paint touch-ups
* Conducting PDI inspections and testing for both incoming and outgoing machinery
* Refurbishment and repair of older machines
* Fault finding and diagnosis of equipment defects
* Supporting field-based engineers with diagnostics and troubleshooting
* Assisting the dealer network with maintenance and testing of products
* Maintaining records for engineering, health & safety, and customer service
* Performing other engineering and workshop duties as required
What you'll need to succeed for this New Build Crane Engineer role
* Electrical Engineering experience (12/24v DC automotive / plant systems)
* Communication system experience (CAN bus - ideal but not essential)
* NVQ level 2/3 Engineering
* High attention to detail and ability to complete system installations to a high standard
* Ability to read and follow electrical and hydraulic diagrams
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
