We are actively recruiting for an LGV driver to join our team based at our purpose-built Raunds campus in Northamptonshire. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement to internal and external customers, whilst carrying out all tasks in line with company policy and legal constraints. The successful candidate will undertake the majority of their duties without direct supervision and are always expected to adhere to company Health & Safety standards.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday - Friday Day Shift (50 Hours)
- Additional weekend work will be required during Peak Easter and Sep/Oct
What will you be doing as an LGV Driver:
- Nationwide deliveries to our depots (days)
- 1-2 nights out p/w on average for day drivers
- Weekend work required on a rotational system, with more support required through our peak period
- Hours of work average 50 hours p/w
- Full company PPE
- Work within the SHE guidelines
- Driving company performance parameters
What do I need to qualify for the LGV Driver:
- Excellent knowledge of driver regulations/WTD.
- Full HGV Class 1 driver's licence (C+E)
- Hold a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Work in a professional manner.
- Undertake site inductions and training.
- Have excellent geographical knowledge.
- The ability to follow company SOP’s
- Flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team
