Overview
HR Operations Advisor - FTC 12 Months role at Turner & Townsend. This is a fixed-term opportunity within the HR team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of HR Assistants to ensure delivery of day-to-day objectives and project deliverables, including ongoing individual development.
* Drive continuous improvement by embedding digital tools, automation, and AI where appropriate.
* Manage the day-to-day administration of end-to-end HR employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding and other transactional processes.
* Analyse employee data and produce statistical reports for the business.
* Develop and maintain HR reporting and dashboards providing analysis about the data and what the metrics are saying.
* Provide project management support to the HR team, managing projects throughout the year in line with the HR activity calendar.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and HR service insights to support data-driven decision-making.
* Act as a senior escalation point for HR issues, applying sound professional judgement.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership within HR/Shared Services/People Services.
* Strong operational HR background.
* Ability to manage high volumes of HR queries and inbox management.
* Excellent skills in prioritisation, SLA delivery, and managing conflicting demands.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law, particularly right to work.
* Proven track record in driving team performance and supporting change.
* Ability to use HR metrics and insights to improve service delivery.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* Customer-focused approach to HR service design and delivery.
* Experience of HRIS systems and reporting tools.
