Role: Global Product ManagerLocation: Hybrid in Andover, England with 20% of travel in the EU for meetings and congressesFTE: Full time, PermanentCompany: Chemical Manufacturing CompanyPrimary Responsibilities:Take ownership, oversee, and enhance a comprehensive portfolio of compelling solutions to meet sales and profit objectives.Develop a European Marketing Plan for the portfolio with a global perspective and ensure its effective implementation.Support the Segment strategy and drive product launches, encompassing tasks such as product-level forecasting, collaboration with Supply Chain and R&D for product availability, and messaging.Contribute to the development of an innovation pipeline to drive future growth, addressing both near-term and long-term projects based on customer needs, competitive landscape, and evolving market priorities.Utilize strong project management skills to lead strategic initiatives, including product development and regulatory-driven projects, while facilitating cross-functional communication.Collaborate with the System Implementation Team, Supply Chain, and Planning to manage product reference modifications, phase-in and phase-out, and coordinate internal and external communications.Work with the Marcom team to develop a comprehensive product communication plan, create messaging, and enable the sales team.Provide training to Corporate Account and Field Sales Teams on product and product-related topics.Engage in ongoing customer interactions to gain business insights and results, acting as the voice of the customer internally and establishing partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).Organize and execute thorough and up-to-date competitive intelligence activities.Analyze data from various channels, develop and monitor success metrics for the portfolio in collaboration with counterparts in the Portfolio Team and Finance.Qualifications and Skills:Possess a post-graduate degree in Marketing or a scientific field (chemistry, microbiology).Accumulate over 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in portfolio management, with knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturers and experience dealing with corporate or plant-level decision-makers.Have experience with product launches.Have global product management experience.Demonstrate strong product management skills and effective communication abilities.Proficient in English and skilled in data analysis.Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and digital tools.Have European/Global experience in highly regulated markets.Display the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including experience in content development and presenting to sales teams and divisional management.Efficient in reporting and synthesizing information from diverse sources.Showcase leadership skills, including setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functional efforts, and a proven track record of achieving results.
