Hours: 35 hours per week, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
My client is seeking an assistant editor to join the team responsible for RadCom publications and news desk management.
The role involves magazine production, sub-editing, article writing, and content planning. The successful candidate will work closely with the RadCom Managing Editor as part of the editorial team.

Responsibilities:
* Commission articles and liaise with authors
* Sub-edit contributions from writers
* Contribute to RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus supplements
* Assist in creating weekly news scripts
* Address queries on technical and amateur radio licensing
* Develop the RadCom portfolio, including new media
Candidate requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is desirable
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm for technology, excellent English skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of radio and electronics, including amateur radio, is a plus
