Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Food Manufacturing) Location: Dudley Salary: £55,780 Overtime Shift Pattern: Contis We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and support production across processing and packaging operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair production and packaging machinery Work on equipment including: Mixing vessels and blenders Pumps, fillers, cappers, and conveyors Pasteurisers, cookers, and heat exchangers Packaging and labelling machinery Electrical fault-finding on single and three-phase systems PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred) Maintain motors, inverters, sensors, and control panels Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults Work in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP standards Skills & Experience Required Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent) PLC fault-finding experience 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Background in Food/FMCG manufacturing highly desirable Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment Shift Pattern Continental shift: Days: 06:00 - 18:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off) Nights: 18:00 - 06:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off) Moving to 4 on / 4 off later in the year If you are interested in the role please send your CV to Kathryn.van- for a confidential conversation regarding the role.
