Overview
Hello! Vita Health Group is a lead provider of NHS Talking Therapies services across Kent and Medway, delivering vital mental health support to clients. We support trainees to become confident, patient-focused clinicians, developing clinical skills during the course with strong supervision and ongoing CPD.
The Role
In this fixed-term training post, you will provide Low Intensity CBT-based interventions while undertaking the Post-Graduate Certificate delivered by the University of Exeter commencing in March 2026. The role equips you to provide evidence-based treatment for common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. You will join a team of mental health professionals and experienced supervisors to support your academic study and clinical delivery.
A typical week includes 2 days of clinical practice (remote or hybrid) and 3 days at a university base in London (WC1N 3LA) with a mix of face-to-face and remote learning. For course details, see the Exeter University course page.

Essential requirements
 * Undergraduate degree or evidence of previous successful study at Regulated Qualifications Framework Level 5
 * At least 1 year paid or voluntary work in a mental health setting directly supporting the mental health of others
 * Evidence of interpersonal skills to engage and develop working alliances with colleagues and patients
 * Evidence of openness to learning new knowledge and skills
 * Ability to work under pressure
 * Excellent administrative and time management skills
 * Awareness of and commitment to diversity and inclusion
Desirable
 * Experience of telephone working
Other requirements
 * Applicants must submit a personal statement as part of the personal summary in their application, outlining reasons for applying and summarising relevant experience.
 * Shortlisted applicants must be available for remote interviews (w/c 17 or 24 November).
 * Induction with Vita Health Group on 2 March 2026 and with the university on 10 March 2026. DBS check required.
 * Applicants who have completed an NHS-funded psychological professions training programme within the last two years are not eligible to apply.
 * Eligible to work in the UK without restriction and eligible for Home Fee status.
