Layers Restoration is an oil painting restoration studio based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Our current clients are collectors and art dealers who expect us to offer an efficient, cost-effective, service while working to a professional standard.
We offer a flexible ongoing internship whereby you'll work alongside Holly, our painting conservator, and also other painting conservators, to learn a range of techniques.
It would be a distinct advantage if you love the old masters.
Tasks May Include
* Surface cleans
* Varnish removal
* Fills and retouching
* Repairing tears and holes
* Flattening bumps in canvases
* Consolidation
Salary
The role is unpaid but we will consider travel expenses and subsistence payments.
