We are looking for a hands-on Project Engineer, who will work across the product lifecycle.
For the past seven years, we've pushed the boundaries of engineering to create over 80 rides in 14 different countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East & Asia. Our Zip Coasters are redefining the amusement industry, and we're at the forefront of this exciting technology.
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for engineering and a proactive problem-solving approach.
A proven track record in project engineering, with 2 to 5 years post graduate experience.
A passion for engineering that includes practical and technical ability.
Experience of 2D/3D modelling software is essential (SketchUp/AutoCAD, Inventor etc).
Willingness to travel abroad for Installation Projects when required.
A full UK driving licence.
Oversee every stage of the project, from internal handover to final client delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and specifications adhered to.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Procurement and Design to ensure smooth project execution.
Serve as the primary contact for the client, providing timely updates, managing expectations and arranging installation details.
Monitoring and mitigating potential project risks, and ensuring work is always completed in a safe manner.
Lead site operations, from 3D site scanning to ride installation and handover to the client.
Our office is on the outskirts of Chester. As a Project Engineer, your role will involve a mixture of both office and site-based work. Approximately 20% to 30% of your time in the year could be spent on site, with our installation teams, in a variety of locations across the world - from London, to Dubai, to Canada! You'll be part of a dynamic, friendly and passionate team, working in one of the most exciting engineering sectors globally. 5hr working week with 20 - 25 days annual leave (negotiable) plus bank holidays.
~ Overtime historically 15-20%, to be paid or taken as TOIL as agreed
~ All travel, accommodation and subsistence costs paid when on installation.
