Key Responsibilities
5. Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, proportionate to experience
6. Undertake statutory assessments and safeguarding work
7. Prepare reports, care plans, and court documentation for family proceedings
8. Work in partnership with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals
9. Apply restorative practice to achieve positive outcomes for children
Requirements
10. Recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
11. Completion of ASYE
12. Experience working within a Children with Disabilities service
13. Knowledge of child protection, LAC, and associated statutory frameworks
14. Understanding of child development, attachment theory, and assessment frameworks
