We are looking for an experienced Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) practitioner to join the Health and Wellbeing Research Group as a PPIE Coordinator. The role will include leading the PPIE activities across a range of active projects within the group. At the moment, the role will include coordination of engagement activities within the ACED programme (https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/for-researchers/our-research-strategy/early-detection-and-diagnosis-research/international-alliance-cancer-early-detection) and the Cancer Data Driven Detection (CD3) programme (https://www.ccge.medschl.cam.ac.uk/research-studies/active-programmes-studies/cancer-data-driven-detection-cd3-programme), Coordination of PPIE activities across other projects will also be expected. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience within research, health or social care or community settings. They must have experience of leading PPIE activities and delivering PPIE strategies within an academic and/or healthcare setting. The ideal candidate must also have experience of working with patient/public partners from a range of backgrounds as well as experience of working with multiple stakeholders from across health and/or social care.
