We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly primary school based in Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood, Essex. The successful applicant will support with lessons and learning activities. They will actively promote the development of the physical and mental wellbeing of pupils and will manage and supervise pupil behaviour during class, break and lunch times. Kelvedon Hatch Community Primary School holds an historical place in the heart of the local community and is a happy, fun and learning focused hub where we aim to provide an excellent education for all of our pupils. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of working in a primary school classroom
* A commitment to delivering education of the highest standard
* Should have creative ideas which can contribute to the planning of activities
* Be confident in making judgments about children's abilities and provide insightful and useful observations
* The ability to build a strong professional relationship with the children and their families
* The ability to communicate with other members of staff effectively
* Have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills plus be able to demonstrate high expectations of achievement for all pupils
* The ability to work as part of a team but to act independently if required
* A willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks
* Must have a warm and positive approach towards all children, staff, parents and carers
* A good sense of humour!
