The Role
The Solution Architect will be responsible for shaping and governing the technology architecture across end customer-facing digital platforms, including websites and product configurators. The role involves close collaboration with Product Owners, Product Managers, internal delivery teams, and third-party agencies to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and alignment with customer’s digital strategy.
Your responsibilities:
* Understand and advise on the technology landscape, integrations, and architecture underpinning customer websites and vehicle configurator platforms.
* Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to shape and guide key technology and architectural decisions.
* Liaise with Solution Architects within third-party agencies to consult, align, and represent the “customer view” on architectural matters.
* Support the customer Digital Operations team during consultations with other internal stakeholders and programs.
* Create and maintain application maps covering current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) states.
* Design and define interaction points between systems and technologies.
* Provide architectural guidance to other programs and initiatives.
* Clarify, document, and communicate the future-state application architecture and roadmap.
* Define and document system interfaces, data flows, and infrastructure at conceptual, logical, and technical levels.
* Create, analyze, and maintain As-Is and To-Be processes and system designs.
* Translate business and functional requirements into robust solution designs.
* Perform root cause analysis on complex business and technology issues.
* Evaluate technologies and systems for relevance, feasibility, and strategic fit.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Strong experience in solution and application architecture within complex digital ecosystems.
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Experience working across multiple teams, programs, and third-party partners.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate architectural decisions.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
* Front-end technologies such as React.
* Backend and full-stack web development experience.
* Exposure to Salesforce and Identity & Access Management (IAM) products.
