The post holder will be responsible for providing support to the HR Team and wider workforce. This post is a fixed term contract for 1 year. Responsibilities Provide support and advice in People related issues as appropriate. Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professional credibility. Support management of casework including sickness absence, making recommendations, and giving support and advice to managers and employees. Support managers in performance management Ensure the implementation of policy, legislation, and best practice. Prepare both standard and ad hoc management reports with a focus on continuous improvement. Support employees through onboarding, through the employee lifecycle to the offboarding process, ensuring correct documentation is issued and systems are updated accordingly Keep up to date regarding developments in human resources practices, and employment legislation, and share knowledge within the team. Maintain and update HR information systems and ensure accurate recording of employment, personnel, and payroll information. Support with Recruitment activities as required Co-ordinate L&D activities, encouraging and supporting staff in their training and development. Awareness and knowledge of HR practices Knowledge of employment legislation Good IT skills Good judgment and decision-making skills.
