1. Position: Credit Controller
2. Hourly rate of pay: £14.36 per hour
3. Location: Brighton, fully office based
4. Hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Starting ASAP we have a number of temporary roles for people with experience in credit control, sales ledger or debt / arrears collections.
You’ll work with a well known organisation in Brighton to help clear backlog of outstanding payments due. Working from central Brighton offices, you will be responsible for contacting consumers directly to chase overdue payments and ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where strong communication skills and confidence on the phone are essential.
As a temporary credit controller you will:
6. Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts
7. Make outbound calls to recover outstanding fees
8. Send follow-up emails, letters, and payment reminders
9. Record all activity accurately on internal systems
10. Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve queries
11. Provide excellent customer service while handling sensitive financial conversations
Skills & experience required:
12. Previous Credit Control or Debt Collection experience is essential
13. Comfortable making outbound collection calls
14. Strong communication and negotiation skills
15. Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
16. Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
17. Please note, a DBS check will be required for all successful applicants
