This is a full-time, fixed-term role running until the end of the current academic year. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in Science across KS3 and KS4. Applications from Chemistry specialists are desirable, but we also welcome applications from teachers of all Science disciplines. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, motivating students to achieve their full potential. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with school and curriculum requirements. Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. Contribute to departmental initiatives, curriculum development, and student enrichment activities. Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where required. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to whole-school priorities. Person Specification Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Science; Chemistry specialists are desirable. Proven ability to engage and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student welfare. Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
