Are you an experienced CNC Milling Programmer looking for a night shift opportunity with excellent pay and long-term potential?
The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering client in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of high-quality machining.
Your Role
As a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Milling) on nights, you will be responsible for the full programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling machines to produce components to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set and operate CNC milling machines from engineering drawings
* Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all machining operations
* Read and interpret cutting patterns to maximise material use and minimise waste
* Handle all products safely to avoid damage or health & safety risks
* Maintain accurate records using computer-based stock control systems
* Clearly identify stock and finished products to customer and internal standards
* Support training and development of other operatives when required
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience programming and setting CNC milling machines
* Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
* Previous experience working with a range of materials in a precision environment
* Proficient in maintaining quality and safety standards
* A team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
* Willingness to work permanent night shifts
