About Us
This position sits within In T&D's (Tech and Data) Customer Payments team, where our focus is on enabling millions of journeys across London's transport network every day, ensuring that our customers pay the best price for their travel. Our innovation and ambition have revolutionised travel payments through our Oyster smartcard system and by being the first transport authority to launch contactless payment acceptance.
We achieve this by providing world-class, efficient payment solutions within an integrated revenue collection system, ensuring fares revenue is collected safely and reliably across all services (London Underground, Buses, River, Overground, Tramlink, TfL Rail, DLR, Train Operating Companies, and Cable Car).
About The Role
* In Technology & Data's Customer Payments team, you will monitor the first-class operation and management of the Revenue Collection Contract and its replacement – the Integrated Revenue Collection Contract.
* Reporting to the Senior Contract Delivery Manager, you will proactively assess the performance and compliance of the Integrated Revenue Collection Contract, enabling the collection and allocation of revenue to the annual value of circa £5 billion for TfL and the Train Operating Companies around London.
* You will support the Senior Contract Delivery Manager in the design, development and implementation of a Revenue Agreements roadmap, consisting of executable deliverables that align with the Mayor's Transport Strategy and TfL's strategic goals.
* You will analyse, interpret and report on the adherence of both TfL and the Supplier to the obligations and SLAs set out in Integrated Revenue Collection Contract across a number of areas (such as Audit, IPR, Document Management, and Standards), using key contract performance indicators and benchmarking data.
* You will feel comfortable escalating and challenging senior internal and external stakeholders where required if expectations have not been met or outlined processes have not been followed correctly.
* You will incentivise outstanding performance, innovative solutions and best practice behaviours from a wide array of key internal (T&D Departments, Procurement & Commercial, Support Services) and external (Suppliers, DfT, London Councils, National Rail) stakeholders by building excellent working relationships to manage the interdependencies impacting the Integrated Revenue Collection Contract and its Interfaces.
* You will also help to develop, deliver and maintain a training programme on the Integrated Revenue Collection Contract to embed understanding of the contract across the organisation, as well as ensuring the contract is up to date to reflect relevant legislative changes.
About You
* You will thrive in a culture of continuous improvement, with a passion for seeking out opportunities for process enhancements and, in turn, driving cost efficiencies across various disciplines.
* You will have a track record of identifying, recommending and implementing improvement initiatives.
* You will have experience of reliably translating strategy into action within robust governance frameworks, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills to get the best possible outcome for the organisation.
* You will be capable at drawing on a broad range of information and data to assess business performance and make concise recommendations that take into account competing factors but prioritise the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
* You will be an effective and proactive planner, organiser and co-ordinator, being able to work and add value to conversations with lots of different stakeholder groups, whilst managing risks and issues with a clear understanding of prioritisation.
