Highways Construction Manager Northamptonshire £400 - £420 per day 6 month contract initially Are you an experienced Construction Manager looking for a new challenge? An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Construction Manager with experience in highway maintenance and improvements to join a client in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time contract position. Flexible working arrangements are available. Your main duties include: ·Managing and administering the construction works in accordance with the contract ·Ensuring effective implementation of the Construction Phase Plan including compliance with specific requirements (eg. site inductions and site rules). ·Ensuring that a robust construction programme is prepared, monitored and maintained. ·Overseeing management and control of all site operations including monitoring the progress of site operations and taking appropriate action (including the issue of instructions) to avoid over-run. ·Verifying working practices comply with the relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Inspection and Test Plans. ·Managing all changes to the works and ensuring they are agreed and properly communicated including the issue of instructions to the contractor ·Providing clarity of roles and responsibilities within the site team Essential requirements: ·NEC Contract Experience ...
