Office-Based | Monday to Friday (Early Finish Fridays)

RecruitME are working exclusively with this respected Grantham-based engineering business to appoint a Sales & Finance Administrator — a pivotal role bridging sales administration and credit control, supporting two key departments that underpin the company’s continued success.

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working in a varied role, raising and chasing customer quotations, supporting the sales cycle, and assisting the finance team with credit control and documentation.

About the Role

Working at the heart of the business, the Sales & Finance Administrator ensures smooth coordination between sales and finance. You’ll take ownership of producing, issuing, and following up on customer quotations, maintaining accurate records, managing customer accounts, and supporting both managers with administrative efficiency and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise, issue, and follow up on customer quotations in a timely and professional manner

• Process and manage customer sales orders with accuracy and attention to detail

• Provide administrative support to both the Sales Manager and Finance Manager

• Assist with credit control — managing account queries, updating payment records, and supporting invoice follow-ups

• Maintain and update CRM and ERP systems with accurate customer and order data

• Prepare internal reports and documentation for both commercial and finance teams

• Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer correspondence

• Support light marketing, document control, and other administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Proven administration experience, ideally within a sales or finance-related environment

• Experience in raising and chasing customer quotes or managing sales documentation

• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Experience using CRM or ERP systems (advantageous but not essential)

• Positive, proactive attitude with strong team spirit
