We've partnered with a national Land Development Consultancy on their search for a Senior Civil Engineers to deliver brownfield land development projects. This an on-site position based in Christchurch. With 13 branches around NZ, they are making the exciting first step to branch out into the Canterbury region with this newly won contract. They are renowned for the transformation they create through land development & subdivision projects.

About the role:
Reporting to one of the Directors, our successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the designs of brownfield land development projects across the entirety of Aotearoa. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver designs that will make an impact on our country's community. This role offers a huge amount of skill development and will be impactful on your career moving forward.
Role Responsibilities / Duties:
5. Managing client interface and building a strong relationship with them.
6. Overviewing designs done by other engineers in your team.
7. Liaise & build relationships with external disciplines & stakeholders.
8. Managing staff on deliverables and ensuring they are met.
9. Providing mentorship and support and shaping a positive culture.
Skills & Experience
10. BEng, BEngTech or NZCE.
11. 6-7+ years' experience in land development preferred.
12. Proven experience managing or leading a team.
13. Proficient use of BrisCad & 12D (12D preferred but not essential).
14. Team player who thrives off a collaborative environment.
15. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
