Responsibilities
* Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols
* Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and labelling
* Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions
* Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and inventory levels
* Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards related to medication handling and storage
* Support administrative tasks such as data entry, stock management, and order processing
* Uphold confidentiality of patient information at all times
* Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment
Skills
* Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser within a healthcare setting
* Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical regulations
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
* Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on safety and confidentiality
