The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytic skills and enjoy working with numbers. SEO is more about using data to problem-solve and make website improvements to enhance rankings. This role suits someone with a strong aptitude for statistics, analytics, or measurements & insights.
Key Responsibilities for This Digital Marketing Specialist Role
1. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to design, compile, and interpret datasets and performance reports, continually enhancing insights to grow the business.
2. Oversee the PPC account, making performance decisions based on keywords, ad copy, and campaigns across Google and Meta (Bing and Programmatic).
3. Review marketing channel and sales conversion performance by customer type, product, seasonality, and cost dynamics.
4. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly dashboard updates for the marketing team and senior stakeholders.
5. Lead the performance forecasting process by preparing datasets based on historic performance and future goals.
6. Monitor and review targets for the PPC channel to support SEO and paid social target setting.
7. Identify correlations, trends, and insights from various data sources using the in-house ERP system, Google Analytics, and other digital tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SE Ranking).
Experience & Skills Required
1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, or related fields with statistical training.
2. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
3. Familiarity with advertising and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads).
4. Proficiency in Excel, including macros, pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
5. Effective communication, writing, and teamwork skills for collaboration across teams.
6. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
