Pre School Room leader Join us and get a £1,000 joining bonus! We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Room Leader at Little Bear’s Nursery! We are looking for individuals who: * Have a NVQ level 3 or above qualification in Child Care * Can be responsible for the day-to-day management of their room and encourage good practice by the staff team. * Develop excellent written and verbal communications with parents. * Observe each child’s progress and report on their achievements. * Be a keyworker for a specified number of children. * Plan a range of interesting and exciting activities to promote children’s development. * Be responsible for creating a stimulating and attractive environment. * Ensure that all required standards and ratios are maintained at all times within the room. * Assist the nursery with the organisation of and attend parent’s meetings as required. * Assist the preparation of the nursery for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the Inspector, in consultation with the Nursery Manager. * In the absence of the Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager, ensure all doors are locked and lock the building at the end of the day, including the setting of the alarm.
