Our client is currently on the lookout for a CNC Machine Centre Setter Operator.
Job details
Schedule:
* 9-5 pm - Monday to Friday
* Shift Patterns Available
Salary: £11.85 per hour
Key Maintenance CNC Operator Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of CMM measuring & SPC
* Make adjustments & corrections based on measurement data.
* Set up & replace tooling.
* Complete routine machine maintenance activities.
* Loading & unloading parts from input & output conveyors.
* Use of supplemental equipment including engraving, flaw detection, and hydraulic pressing.
* Contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working.
* Communicate well with colleagues on alternative shifts, conduct thorough handovers, and highlight issues to the site management team.
* Follow Safe Systems of Work.
* Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures & process control systems.
* Pride in quality of work and workplace.
* Auditing and Control of Consumables.
* Read drawings & measure parts to drawing tolerances.
* Use of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines & measuring instruments.
* Self-motivated & conscientious.
* Reliable & punctual.
* Ability & drive to root cause & prevent reoccurrence of faults.
* Good IT skills and quick to learn new skills on CNC Systems.
