About the Role:
* Do you have fresh ideas and a passion for making an impact in the foodservice industry?
* Do you have a genuine interest in the food industry and a keen understanding of the importance of quality ingredients and culinary innovation?
If so, you will:
* Work as a dynamic and driven Key Account Manager with End User accounts within the Fast Food/Takeaway, QSR, and Wholesale channels in the North of the UK (including Scotland initially).
* Build, nurture, and maintain strong and effective customer relationships, as well as develop new business within current and new accounts.
* Have the opportunity to build a credible and long-term career with a market leader at an exciting time for the business.
* Take accountability for profit and loss for your specific business portfolio.
* Work closely with product management, marketing, and NPD teams to deliver compelling customer-specific propositions on product development.
* Create efficient working relationships with key contacts within each account across the channel, e.g., Chefs, F&B Managers, Owners, etc.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
* Knowledge and experience of selling into the Fast Food/Takeaway & QSR channels is preferred, but other channels will be considered.
* A forward-thinking and innovative approach with a desire to stay updated on industry trends and bring new ideas to customers and the Line Manager.
* A creative mindset to drive new product ideas and customer acquisitions.
* Always seeking new ways to solve problems and offer creative solutions.
* Ideally residing in or near Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, etc., to service the northern territory, including Scotland temporarily.
Salary/Benefits:
Basic salary up to £50,000 p.a. (DOE), possibly negotiable, plus car, bonus, 24 days holiday, pension, etc.
