Accounts Assistant
Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm Office based
£30,000–£35,000 (depending on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join my client who are a growing business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing and recording purchase invoices using Sage
Supplier statement reconciliations
Weekly cash tracking across all company stores
Preparation of weekly management reports
Liaising with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders as required
Daily banking, filing and general administrative support
Preparation of management accounts, including accruals and prepayments
VAT returns
Weekly bank reconciliations
Weekly petty cash reconciliations
Requirements:
Previous accounts experience (essential)
CIMA / ACCA study or qualification preferred
Strong IT skills, including Sage and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and spoken English with a professional telephone manner
Highly organised and efficient
Able to work independently and use initiative
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
Strong planning and prioritisation skills
A team player with a proactive attitude
Must have the right to work in the UK
