Role Overview
The Breast Imaging Department at West Middlesex University Hospital is looking for a Band 7 Mammographer to join their team. The role is based at West Middlesex University Hospital and will primarily work within the symptomatic breast unit, providing imaging for one‑stop clinics.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mammographic examinations for symptomatic patients, family history clinics and follow‑up surveillance services.
* Operate the Hologic 3Dimensions Mammography System daily to deliver high‑quality imaging.
* Provide care in one‑stop clinics and surveillance/family history clinics, performing a comprehensive range of breast procedures without supervision.
* Undertake training, teaching and supervision of junior staff, and pursue personal professional development.
* Assist with organisational tasks and ensure smooth running of the Breast Unit.
* Carry out weekend shifts at multiple sites as required.
