About the role
Communications Officer on a fixed‑term maternity cover contract for 12 months. Key responsibilities include supporting RSH’s internal communications and engagement and contributing to wider communications work.
Responsibilities
* Deliver internal communications and engagement activity and support planning and evaluation
* Communicate complex and corporate information through clear, engaging written copy, good quality videos and imagery
* Manage WordPress, intranet systems and SharePoint; handle event management and stakeholder engagement
* Handle competing priorities and work collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications
* Experienced in internal communications and digital/social media
* Skilled technical knowledge; understanding of complex organisational communication
* Experience in events, media relations, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement desirable
* Ability to build and maintain key relationships at all organisational levels
Location
Hybrid model of working. Role based at RSH’s core offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, or Bristol. May involve travel within England and onsite visits to social housing providers.

Salary
Spot salary within the given range; normally the minimum. No incremental progression; annual reviews determined by government pay award.
