Job description
We're currently working with a prominent Barnsley based business, who have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their well established team.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly credit control department at their Barnsley Head office, reporting into the Assistant Credit Manager. This company are a market leader in their field and have continued to grow over recent years, further strengthening their position within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Controlling the collection of Key and non-Key accounts.
2. Creating customer's applications for payment within Excel.
3. Chasing payment from Accounts Departments.
4. Cash allocation.
5. Credit checks.
6. Reconciliation of accounts.
7. Collating paperwork for customer visits.
8. Logging, resolving and clearing queries.
9. Liaising with internal departments.
10. Dealing with customers over the phone.
11. Resolving complex pricing issues
Candidate requirements
12. 2+ years experience working in credit control
13. Experience in using spreadsheets.
14. Strong communication skills.
15. Strong organisational skills.
16. A keen eye for detail as accuracy is important.
17. A positive and flexible attitude.
