As PCGB's Accounts Payable Admin, you will maintain a tight level of control over the accounts payable function while continually identifying and implementing areas for improvement.
Please note this is a six month Fixed Term Contract position.
Responsibilities:
* Process and post supplier invoices accurately in SAP.
* Manage supplier and internal queries, including PO issues and duplicate checks.
* Reconcile supplier statements and intercompany accounts.
* Prepare and run weekly BACS payments for UK and international suppliers.
* Match payments to invoices and reconcile the PIFL account.
* Support month‑end with reconciliations and AP schedules.
* Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
* Strong understanding and use of SAP & Concur finance system
* Previous exposure to supporting system integrations
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data sorting/filtering)
* Ability to process invoices, match POs, and manage payment runs
Desirable Qualification:
* AAT Level 2 or Level 3 (or working toward it)
* Degree in accounting, finance, or business (not required for most AP roles)
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Ability to analyse AP ageing, trends, and exceptions
* Continuous improvement mindset and interest in process optimisation
