We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assessment & Engagement Worker to work with service users and multi-agency team members in an essential liaison role. This full time, permanent position will focus on drawing in local community assets to support the delivery of recovery focussed outcomes, promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions in the hub reception areas. Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community Facilitate harm reduction interventions Supporting service users who are attending the reception area of the service. A summary is provided below: To manage the reception area of the hub to ensure effective brief interventions are facilitated by staff and Recovery Supporter Volunteers. To work with service users in attendance and manage day today issues which arise in the reception area. To take the lead in managing complex behaviours in the reception and surrounding areas. To signpost to local services and empower service users to build their community networks and recovery capital. To promote visible and contagious recovery in the reception areas of the hub. To ensure that the reception team work effectively in relation to Inclusion policies and procedures.
