The Universal Crisis Team for North Cumbria are in a position to recruit and are therefore looking to recruit motivated and committed individuals.
The North Cumbria Crisis Team have Full Time and Part Time Vacancies – based at Carelton Clinic in Carlisle and Lillyhall in Workington.
The post holder will be part of a team working under the crisis model and pathway, offering a 24/7 service as an alternative to hospital admission. The successful candidate must have experience of working with individuals with a variety of mental health needs, and ideally have a track record of clinical experience in working with risk and complexity.
The role requires sound clinical skills in all aspects of triage, assessment, formulation, management of risk and therapeutic interventions.
The North Cumbria Crisis Team offers a dynamic and exciting work environment that can be both challenging and rewarding. You would be working within a multi‑disciplinary team that is motivated in delivering high quality care for patients at home, with an aim to provide an alternative to hospital admission.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete all aspects of Crisis work, including the triaging of referrals, completion of holistic and comprehensive assessments and the treatment of patients who are in mental health crisis within their home environment. The successful candidate will also be expected to coordinate the shifts and manage the competing demands for the service.
