What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services for our company. You will make use of your analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the procurement of goods and services such as fabrics and raw components
* Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services through follow-up communication and expediting action
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with company goals and objectives
* Analyze data and generate reports on purchasing activity
* Other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
* 1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP software
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Physical Demands
* Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
* Ability to lift/move/pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout day
* Ability to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings
* Vision: Required to have close visual acuity, color vision and depth perception
* Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
* Must be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product
