Vida Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Blackpool and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people.
No classroom experience? We provide FREE training to get you started.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take full control of the classroom in the teacher’s absence. You are not required to plan lessons, but you will be responsible for:
* Supervising whole classes independently
* Delivering pre-set lesson work
* Managing behaviour and keeping students engaged
* Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
This role requires confidence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a room.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with young people (essential)
* Confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom
* Good behaviour management and communication skills
* A genuine interest in working in education
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
