Junior Buyer – Hinckley – Up to £28,000
Chase & Holland are delighted to be partnered with a successful and well-established Manufacturing and Engineering business based in Hinckley. They are seeking to recruit a new Junior Buyer to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Buyer, this position offers progression and opportunities within Purchasing and/or Project Management. It is an ideal role for a Graduate or someone early in their procurement career looking to develop further. The business is a reputable leader within its field, forecasting continued growth over the next 5 years and beyond.

Operational Buyer Responsibilities:
* Updating supplier information
* Maintaining the system and database
* Raising purchase orders for direct and indirect suppliers
* Maintaining order books
* Managing system messages
* Monitoring stock levels to ensure on-time delivery
* Maintaining good knowledge of procured goods and services
* Supporting the purchasing team with projects and administrative tasks
Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, and Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm (Flexible)
Required Skills & Experience:
* Engineering/Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and IT literacy, including Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work to deadlines
