What the school offers its staff
Our commitment to excellence and inclusive education ensures that each child is supported to achieve their highest potential.
At Boldon School, our key aim is to raise aspirations and embed ambition in all of our young people. Our broad and balanced curriculum allows students to flourish, providing opportunities to engage in a range of subjects they can enjoy and excel at.
Our school also offers the highest standards of pastoral care, to ensure a smooth transition to secondary school. Standards of achievement at the school are already extremely high, but we continue to provide challenge and support, working in partnership with parents and carers, to raise achievement even further and to do everything we can to enhance our pupils’ life chances for the future.
Commitment to safeguarding
South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
In line with the guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education, we may carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
