Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children who need support the most? We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join the team at an Alternative Provision for primary-aged pupils, located just outside Chelmsford.
Responsibilities
Support children with a range of additional needs in a primary setting. Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Implement trauma-informed approaches and emotional regulation strategies to support pupil wellbeing. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and behavior management, adapting approaches as needed to individual needs.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children with SEND, especially ASD, ADHD and SEMH, is highly desirable but not essential.
* A trauma-informed approach and strong understanding of emotional regulation strategies, with full free training provided.
* Calm, empathetic and resilient individuals who can work effectively in a Primary School setting.
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a new and evolving provision.
* Own transport is essential due to the location of the school.

* Salary information: All pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position; there may be an option to make the role permanent at a later date.
