Our client is one of the world's largest leading manufacturers, they have a presence in all the leading supermarkets in the UK and are expanding.\n\nJob Role & Key Responsibilities:\n\nAs a Maintenance Planner, you'll be a vital part of the Engineering team, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering. You will help optimise the reliability of equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.\n\nDevelop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules\n\nAlign maintenance activities with production plans and site availability\n\nLead planning for overhauls and integrate predictive and preventative maintenance tasks\n\nMaintain and update master maintenance plans in CMMS with cost and performance data\n\nCoordinate with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure alignment of priorities\n\nTrack performance metrics such as FTE utilisation, backlog levels, and completion rates\n\nSupport continuous improvement through analysis and root cause investigations\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nPrevious experience as a Maintenance Planner or Coordinator in a manufacturing or process-driven environment (e.g., food & beverage, pharma, FMCG, chemicals)\n\nHands-on background in engineering or maintenance\n\nSolid understanding of preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies\n\nStrong familiarity with CMMS platforms for scheduling, logging, and reporting maintenance work\n\nExperience working within Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or other structured CI frameworks\n\nExcellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills\n\nData-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights and implement improvements\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nRoot Cause Analysis and performance tracking experience\n\nLeadership or involvement in maintenance improvement initiatives\n\nUnderstanding of production planning and asset availability\n\nBenefits include:\n\nCompany bonus scheme\n\nProduct allowance\n\n24/7 GP access\n\nGenerous pension & holiday entitlement\nIf you believe you are a great fit for this role, we'd love to hear from you.
