Role overview
Our Finance and Business Services team are about to embark on a period of transformational technological change as part of a broader programme, which aims to deliver a “World Class” finance function by 2027. These technological solutions will drive the automation of manual tasks, which results in us having a greater capacity for deeper analytical and strategic capability.

Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
1. Providing consultancy across your area(s) of business to identify, propose and collaborate on strategies which drive organisational capabilities, including leadership, culture, capability, efficiency and productivity across Hastings Direct
2. Developing strong relationships and credibility with stakeholders across HR, your business areas and external partners (at all levels) to ensure effective delivery of learning and capability outcomes
3. Leading skills and capability programme development, implementation, on-going delivery and engagement with stakeholders – managing business engagement, expectations and deliverables
4. Evaluating how initiatives are landing – ensuring that the experience of colleagues impacted and progress against agreed outcomes are measures of success
5. Embedding our 4Cs framework and transformational leadership principles across all solutions to help us embed the right culture and behaviours
6. You’ll play a key role in providing a ‘bridge’ between the technical and human elements of the change process, showing a good understanding of the new systems, understanding how this technology will impact colleagues and the work they do today and helping to redesign the human processes accordingly
Essential skills/experience:
7. Extensive experience and background as a learning/organisational development practitioner in a fast paced environment
8. Strong planning and programmatic skills with significant experience driving Technology and human transformation end to end
9. Outstanding consultancy skills with the ability to influence long term decisions by simplifying complex issues and providing clarity that will drive the best outcomes
10. Significant stakeholder management skills – able to build trusted relationships by presenting and engaging with colleagues at all levels, across multiple departments
11. Strong commercial and analytical thinking – can showcase how they’ve used business insight and data to help shape decisions and measure impact
12. Change leadership in a digital/technological background
