About the Role: Utilizing your audiology background to provide remote consultative support to clinics and recipients by assisting with registrations, equipment reviews, order processes, and ongoing patient engagement. Maintain customer relationships through troubleshooting, technology awareness, CRM tracking, and collaboration with clinical and consumer teams. Please note, this is a 4-month temporary position. Primary Responsibilities: Management unbillable remote consultative services for clinics and recipients. This includes but is not limited to: Assisting recipients with registrations Review of equipment prior to activation and after activation as needed Assist with order forms, colors, accessories, etc. Work closely with the consumer engagement team on patient counseling, referrals to HearPeers, one-on-one with patients at “Open Houses”, and fostering an ongoing relationship with our recipients Providing awareness of new technology and potential upgrades for audio-processors, accessory sales etc. for recipients Familiarity and use of MED-EL Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) Track and log calls and interactions with recipients General knowledge of how to assist with management of reports and trends Serve as contact for troubleshooting and consumer calls regarding MED-EL cochlear implants, middle ear implants and bone conduction devices Aid regional clinical staff and Regional Customer Service Representatives Participate as needed in any Audiology on Call programs that the department is required to cover by MED-EL Serve as back up for Audiology Technical Support Services Provide, as needed, remote speech processor loading Provide, as needed, clinically related training for new MED-EL personnel Assist with departmental and company initiatives and projects that might be required Requirements: Doctor of Audiology required Knowledge of hearing implant, hearing aids, and applicable software Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and with high quality Ability to interact courteously and professionally during interactions with customers or the public at large while representing MED-EL Corporation Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills, to carry out the company mission High degree of competence with written communication and computer skills.
