Homes for Students is the leading independant provider of Student Accommodation. We are seeking a creative, driven, and talented Junior Designer to join our team to assist with the creation and delivery of inspiring and engaging creative across multiple online and offline channels. As Junior Designer, you will work closely with the marketing team to deliver multiple campaigns and other branded collateral as well as our social media artworks. With the support of the marketing team and senior designer you will create artwork for periodic campaigns across online and offline channels including for third party channels and social media, and co-ordinate distribution of the collateral and assets to the regional and property teams. You will work with the property teams to ensure effective delivery and placement of collateral and assets and offer support and advice to the teams as required. You will make recommendations for improvements as part of the creative process and collaborative marketing approach and seek any opportunities to improve campaign performance. Major Duties: Support marketing campaigns and student experience activity by creating artwork, printed collateral, marketing materials and digital assets for use in online and offline channels. To own the creation of artwork for Social Media accounts across multiple brand accounts. Co-ordinate and manage production and distribution of print collateral, marketing materials and digital assets. Liaise with external contractors, suppliers and freelance staff such as signage companies, print companies, photographers, web developers, content writers etc with regards to creation of artwork and collateral, production, scheduling and distribution. Assist with campaigns and competitions on social media by providing creative content to the relevant teams. Maintain collateral and materials within brand guidelines across each of our brands, and encourage and support the wider business in the same. Keep up to date with current trends in the student accommodation market and relevant competitors and suggest upgrades and enhancements accordingly. Work to tight deadlines with accuracy. Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy. To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues. Some national travel may be required infrequently to attend meetings etc. Skills Must have very strong design skills with a keen eye for detail and a creative flair. Must have very strong written English skills. Proven track record within design and creative. Ability to design effectively and efficiently and for purpose. Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Experience of marketing and design within the student sector. Experience of managing workloads or a team. Video & Animation Knowledge or a want to learn these skills.
