Job Title: Account Executive, Programmatic – Media Management & Delivery
Location: Central Manchester campus, UK (UK-based role, right to work required).
Role Summary and Impact
As a Programmatic Account Executive, you will support the management and optimisation of programmatic campaigns, develop strong platform knowledge, contribute to programmatic planning, and assist with data analysis under the guidance of senior team members. Working closely with Programmatic Account Managers, you will help execute programmatic media activity, ensure seamless campaign implementation, and contribute to client objectives and KPIs within the Programmatic channel and the WPP Open ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
* Campaign Management
o Support implementation, management, and daily optimisation of programmatic campaign activity to reach client objectives and KPIs.
o Assist in creating media plans designed to achieve specified KPIs.
o Support the day‑to‑day QA process, minimizing errors and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process.
o Contribute to client testing plans, including planning, execution, and evaluation of tests.
* Client and Partner Support
o Prepare client reports and assist in basic campaign analysis, extracting insights to support recommendations.
o Work with partners and attend regular platform training to develop programmatic skillset and industry knowledge.
* Operational Excellence
o Contribute to appropriate use of tools to drive accountability, operational efficiencies, and actionable business insights.
o Assist in ensuring financial accuracy, integrating the planning and buying process, and reconciling spends, including client terms and programmatic fees.
o Help maintain standards and processes throughout the end‑to‑end campaign lifecycle.
Skills and Experience
* Programmatic aptitude: Passion for programmatic activation and driving excellence. Demonstrating proficiency in core trading platforms (e.g., DV360, TTD, Amazon). Affinity for numbers and analytical mindset.
* Foundational knowledge: Eagerness to develop understanding of programmatic buying, optimisation levers, and major platforms.
* Analytical & organisational: Ability to manage time effectively, strong attention to detail, and capable of working as part of a group to analyse campaign data and identify trends and actionable insights.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Mindset: Proactive and self‑motivated, always looking to expand knowledge and capabilities within the programmatic landscape and industry trends.
