We're delighted to be working with one of the leading providers of packaging solutions in the North, to secure a new Health and Safety Manager.
The organisation has an excellent reputation in the industry, with a long history of successful business.
This role is specifically responsible their flagship site and will lead on all Health and Safety matters.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:
Ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation.
Engaging with staff across the site to drive improvement within Health and Safety.
Auditing Health and Safety performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses.
Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators.
Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health and Safety performance.The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industrial background.
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders.
